Welcome Aboard
After three years cruising the inland waterways in our River Cruiser, we've decided to take the plunge and have a live-aboard wide beam boat built from scratch. We've cruised for over five months in the summer periods and even a month in winter to get a feel for what it's like (get the heating right!).
Our travels have taken us from Ripon to Leicester, Nottingham, Leeds, Lincoln, Doncaster, York, and Manchester, just to name a few.
Our wide beam (60ft x 12ft 6") is currently under construction. The steelwork and painting are being completed by Collingwood in Liverpool. The boat will then move to Lymm Marina for internal fitting, including electrics and plumbing.
Chris at Lymm Marina and his team have been boatbuilding for forty years, so we feel confident in their expertise. The steelwork was finished in December 2025, and the boat is expected to arrive at Lymm Marina in early January 2026.
